The YMCA of Central & Northern Westchester is proud to share that our CEO, Cynthia Delfino-Birdsall, has been invited to serve as a panelist at Nonprofit Westchester’s upcoming seminar, “Evolving from a Fundraising Mindset to a Resource Development Strategy.”
This event, part of NPW’s Inside the Nonprofit Sector series, will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at the Westchester Library System in Elmsford. The session will bring together nonprofit leaders to explore innovative strategies for sustainability, collaboration, and long-term community impact.
In today’s changing landscape, nonprofits are increasingly called to think beyond traditional fundraising and embrace resource development strategies that promote advocacy, partnerships, and innovation. Cynthia will join a panel of respected leaders from across the region to discuss how organizations can build resilience, strengthen their mission, and drive positive change for the communities they serve.
Participants will gain insights into:
- Building a sustainability framework that extends beyond fundraising
- Aligning partnerships for greater reach and outcomes
- Advocacy as a tool to advance mission and community goals
- Innovative ways to seize new opportunities and drive long-term impact
We are honored to see Cynthia represent the YMCA of Central & Northern Westchester and share her expertise on building partnerships that strengthen families and communities. Her participation reflects the Y’s ongoing commitment to Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility—values that guide our mission every day.
