The YMCA of Central & Northern Westchester is incredibly grateful for the generous $25,000 grant awarded to us by the Thomas & Agnes Carvel Foundation in support of technology improvements and enrichment opportunities at YMCA Camp Combe. This vital funding will have a direct and lasting impact on the experiences of our campers—especially our older youth.

Thanks to this support, we will be able to purchase new computers and introduce an exciting technology clinic at camp. This initiative will allow campers to develop valuable digital literacy and computer skills, engage in lessons on internet safety, and explore enriching online tools and educational platforms—all in a safe, supportive, and supervised environment.

At the YMCA, we are committed to helping children learn, grow, and thrive in body, mind, and spirit. That means preparing them not only for fun summer memories but also for a future where digital confidence and responsible technology use are essential life skills. The new tech clinic will offer hands-on learning that’s interactive, age-appropriate, and aligned with our core values of responsibility and respect.

We are so grateful for this investment in our mission and in the lives of the children we serve. Your support is helping us create meaningful, forward-thinking experiences that empower youth to discover their potential—both at camp and beyond.

Thank you Thomas & Agnes Carvel Foundation for helping us spark curiosity, inspire learning, and build brighter futures!
