The YMCA of Central & Northern Westchester is proud to recognize and thank the John T. Sloper Community Foundation for their generous grant of $1,750 in support of Emergency Medical Training and AED replacement.

At the YMCA, the safety and well-being of our members, staff, and community are always our highest priority. This vital funding allows us to continue offering life-saving emergency response training and to ensure our facilities are equipped with up-to-date Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)—a critical tool in responding to sudden cardiac emergencies.

With this support, we can train more staff in CPR and First Aid, maintain high safety standards across all our sites, and respond quickly and effectively in the event of a medical emergency. This preparation can mean the difference between life and death, and we are committed to doing everything we can to be ready when it matters most.

Grants like this reflect the power of community partnerships—where organizations come together with a shared mission to protect and uplift those we serve. The John T. Sloper Community Foundation’s investment in our training efforts directly impacts the health and safety of children, families, and individuals who walk through our doors every day.

We are deeply grateful for this contribution and the trust it represents. With your support, we’re not only building a stronger YMCA—we’re creating a safer, healthier space where everyone can grow, play, and thrive with peace of mind.

Thank you, John T. Sloper Community Foundation, for helping us be prepared, stay protected, and care for our community with confidence.

Together, we’re making a meaningful difference—one trained responder and one safe facility at a time.
