“Since taking the reins of the YMCA of Central and Northern Westchester in 2014, Cynthia Delfino-Birdsall has been committed to community development. She has forged partnerships with schools, health care providers, and other organizations and advocated for support from elected officials, all while adding programming and shoring up the YMCA’s finances. She also has expanded universal prekindergarten programs in recent years into Somers, Elmsford, and White Plains, and will add two new districts next school year: Valhalla and Yorktown.” – City & State Article
