YMCA of Central & Northern Westchester Receives $25,000 Grant from Con Edison

The YMCA of Central & Northern Westchester is honored to announce that we have received a $25,000 grant from Con Edison to support our Youth And Government program. This generous contribution will be specifically used to help educate and empower young leaders as they explore climate resiliency—a critical issue impacting communities today and for generations to come.

Through this funding, our Youth And Government participants will engage in hands-on learning experiences focused on sustainability, environmental stewardship, and climate solutions. These future leaders will have the opportunity to research, discuss, and propose actionable ideas aimed at building stronger, more resilient communities. The program encourages civic engagement and leadership development, equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to make a positive difference both locally and beyond.

Con Edison’s support helps us continue our mission of fostering youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. By investing in the Youth And Government program, Con Edison is playing a vital role in shaping the next generation of changemakers who are committed to protecting our planet and advocating for lasting change.

We are deeply grateful to Con Edison for their commitment to education, sustainability, and community empowerment. Their partnership allows us to expand our reach and provide even more young people with the tools they need to become informed, engaged citizens.

Thank you, Con Edison, for helping us build a better, brighter future—one young leader at a time!
