Congratulations Margarita Pineiro, our Director of Early Learning Child Care Services for being awarded a scholarship by the Cathryn Riley Leadership Fund to participate in the Leadership Westchester program run by Volunteer New York. Margarita shared that she is enjoying “connecting with different professionals who come from different walks of life and experiences,” and looks forward to gaining new perspectives and knowledge in LW.
About The Program
Leadership Westchester is a rigorous, 9-month curriculum that is designed to sharpen your leadership skills and teach you how to leverage your strengths so you can make a lasting and powerful impact on Westchester and the world. This signature professional development program from Volunteer New York! is limited to 20 individuals per class, per year.
Strong Alumni Association: With almost 500 local leaders to have gone through Leadership Westchester since 1996, the Leadership Westchester Alumni Association is a growing and rich network of changemakers—which all participants of the program gain access upon graduation.
