We’re thrilled that the YMCA of Central and Northern Westchester is the Stop & Shop Community Bag Program Charity of Choice for March! This is a great way for our community to support the Y while shopping.
Throughout March, every $2.50 reusable Community Bag purchased at Stop & Shop, 154 Westchester Avenue, White Plains, NY, generates a $1 donation to the YMCA. These funds directly support our mission to nurture children, promote healthy living, and encourage social responsibility. In addition, donations help provide after-school programs, camps, swim lessons, and other experiences that build confidence, inspire learning, and foster growth.
Being selected as a Community Bag charity reflects the YMCA’s commitment to the community. Moreover, it shows how small actions—like choosing a reusable bag—can make a big difference.
We encourage everyone to join in and spread the word! Share with friends, family, and neighbors so they know that every bag purchased helps the Y continue offering programs that teach caring, respect, and responsibility.
