The YMCA of Central and Northern Westchester is proud to announce that Charles A. Goldberger, Esq., has been selected as the recipient of our 2025 Ralph Penny Award. This award honors individuals who embody the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility — qualities that Charlie has demonstrated through decades of service to our Y and the broader community.
In a special video message, YMCA President & CEO Cynthia Delfino-Birdsall reflects on Charlie’s invaluable leadership, calling him “a steady hand, a compassionate leader, and a trusted advisor.” Charlie shares his deep appreciation for the Y’s mission and the impact it has on the lives of children and families throughout Westchester and Putnam counties.
The Ralph Penny Award will be presented at our 40th Annual Golf Outing on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Scarsdale Golf Club. Proceeds from the outing support vital YMCA programs — from early childhood education to youth development and summer camp — ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive.
