YMCA Camp Combe was pleased to welcome Assemblyman Matt Slater and Senator Rob Rolison for a special visit to camp.
During their time at Camp Combe, Assemblyman Slater and Senator Rolison had the opportunity to connect with campers and staff, see camp activities in action, and experience firsthand what makes the Camp Combe summer experience so meaningful for young people and families in our community.
Summer camp is about so much more than keeping children busy during the summer months. At Camp Combe, young people have opportunities to build friendships, develop confidence, try new things, explore the outdoors, and create memories that will stay with them long after summer ends. It is a place where children can be themselves, discover new interests, and grow alongside their peers and caring camp staff.

Visits like this also provide an opportunity to showcase the important role YMCA Camp Combe plays in supporting local families and strengthening our community. By providing a welcoming environment where young people can learn, grow, connect, and thrive, Camp Combe helps create experiences that have an impact well beyond the campgrounds.
We are grateful to Assemblyman Slater and Senator Rolison for taking the time to visit YMCA Camp Combe, meet the people who make camp special, and see the excitement of a summer day firsthand.
Thank you for spending time with our campers and staff and for celebrating the work happening at Camp Combe. We were proud to share a little of the Camp Combe experience with you!
