The YMCA of Central and Northern Westchester is proud to recognize the incredible support of JPMorgan Chase and Break a Difference, whose partnership is helping create meaningful opportunities for young people in our community.
Through a recent day of service, volunteers came together to assemble and donate 40 skateboards and helmets for use at YMCA Camp Combe this summer. This hands-on effort reflects a shared commitment to youth development and ensuring all young people have access to experiences that help them grow in confidence, stay active, and build lasting connections.
These skateboards will play an exciting role in camp programming, offering campers new ways to challenge themselves, learn new skills, and enjoy active play in a supportive and encouraging environment. In addition, some campers will have the opportunity to take skateboards home, extending the impact beyond the camp experience and into their everyday lives.
At the Y, we know that it takes a community working together to create spaces where everyone can learn, grow, and thrive. Partnerships like these demonstrate the power of collaboration and the impact that caring individuals and organizations can have when they come together with purpose.
