We were honored to welcome the City of White Plains Mayor Justin Brasch to our White Plains Early Learning Center for a special visit with our youngest learners.

During his time with us, Mayor Brasch sat down with children to read stories, share conversations, and experience firsthand the joyful, nurturing environment that helps set the foundation for lifelong learning. Moments like these create meaningful connections—giving children the opportunity to engage with community leaders in a way that feels personal, supportive, and inspiring.
At the YMCA, we are committed to strengthening community by connecting people to their potential, purpose, and each other. Early learning programs play a critical role in that mission, providing children with safe, welcoming spaces
where they can grow, explore, and build confidence. Visits from local leaders like Mayor Brasch help reinforce the importance of investing in young people and ensuring every child has access to opportunities that help them thrive.
Partnerships like this also highlight the power of collaboration in building a stronger, more connected community. When local leaders, families, and organizations come together, we create a shared commitment to supporting children and removing barriers to opportunity—so all families can feel a sense of belonging and support.
We are grateful to Mayor Brasch for taking the time to visit, connect, and champion the importance of early childhood education. We look forward to continuing to work together to support children, empower families, and strengthen our community for all.
