February is Heart Health Month, and the YMCA of Central & Northern Westchester is proud to support the American Heart Association’s #GoRedForWomen movement. Heart disease continues to be the leading cause of death for women, but together, we can make a meaningful impact by raising awareness and inspiring healthy lifestyle changes. This Friday, we encourage everyone to wear red to show solidarity for the millions of women affected by cardiovascular disease. By choosing to wear red, you are taking a stand and helping to spark important conversations about heart health in our community.
