We are thrilled to introduce Joseph, a junior at Eastchester High School, who is making a lasting impact on our Early Learning Center in Valhalla! Joseph is building a special library focused on environmental education for our youngest learners (ages 3-5).

With a passion for conservation, Joseph has been volunteering at the Greenburgh Nature Center, teaching children about the environment and sustainability. Now, he’s expanding his efforts by creating a space where our early learners can explore books about nature, animals, and caring for our planet.

A Note from Joseph:“I have currently placed two donation bins at the Village Bookstore in Pleasantville and the Scattered Books Bookstore in Chappaqua. I’m really excited to see the community’s support for this project, and I’m super excited to continue to expand our efforts by hopefully setting up more donation bins to gather even more books.”
