The countdown is on and we’re getting VERY excited for camp. We know that this year won’t be quite the same as previous years, so we wanted to let you know that our team is hard at work preparing for the necessary adjustment to make sure that we’re taking all necessary precautions while still making sure your children have a great time. We will be updating this site regularly with new information. Please check back regularly. We can’t wait to see you soon!

Is summer camp for 2020 still happening?

YES! We are planning for CAMP COMBE to be open! At this time, we anticipate opening our summer day camp programs as planned beginning June 29th.

However, no official Department of Health guidance, rules, or restrictions have yet been issued; either from the State or Putnam County. This means that we still are unable to say what “open” could look like.

What we don’t know…Is it group size limits? Limits to the number of total people at camp? Masks required? Social distancing requirements? Will certain activities like instructional swimming be allowed? Can we run buses? How many campers per bus?

However, we DO know that there is no better place for kids to connect, make new friends, try new things, and discover their potential. Our team is hard at work, meeting regularly to plan for all necessary precautions that may come to make sure that we are able to follow all CDC, local, state and government guidance. As guidance changes, we will adapt our plans as needed. We will continue to keep lines of communication open and transparent as summer approaches. One thing we know for sure: Kids will need Camp Combe now more than ever and we can’t wait to see you!
